I remember finding a site, once I searched ebay, that manufactured plexiglas speaker enclosures. It seemed as though the guy worked out of his garage, but did a VERY well job manufacturing the boxes. I've lost the url, does anyone know?

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

OFC vs CCA for wiring amp to car and for speaker use . . .
I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
